Hi, I’m Eric J. Jones.
My primary employment is Aquaveo, where I make civil engineering software. Most notably, I develop and maintain software for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), specifically HY-8 culvert analysis and design, Hydraulic Toolbox, and HY-12. I also collaborate in developing and maintaining Surface-water Modeling System (SMS), Groundwater Modeling System (GMS), and Watershed Modeling System (WMS).
I have started a small, single employee, part-time, seasonal company to design irrigation ditches, EJJ Engineering, which stems from the first job I ever had working for my parents digging ditches for Jones Concrete. It’s a good little project.
The goal of this site is to help you achieve water mastery! This website, takes the experience that I have gained from Aquaveo and developing FHWA software, but I am coming to you in the EJJ Engineering role. This is not associated with Aquaveo nor the Federal Highway Administration.
